RSA Art Corner
Art Extravaganza
Redding School of the Arts held its annual Art Extravaganza Thursday, February
28th. Student art from elective classes K-8 were exhibited in a myriad of media
in the classrooms and along the hallways of the school. Our very own RSA musicians
serenaded with guitars and fiddles while parents and visitors nibbled refreshments
and enjoyed the student artwork.
Ms. Brown’s electives included two ceramic classes (grades 3-8) and studio
art, displaying paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor and mixed media (grades
5-8). Mrs. Lindberg showed the elective art of grades K-8, which included Caldecott
projects, ceramics, fabric design and stagecraft. Mrs. Krick’s second
grade students created self portraits in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional
media. The visual arts staff would like to thank all of our parents for the
support and assistance they provided to help make this event happen.
Slide show coming!
